About Us

The Italian Porphyry Company has evolved out of the Chiltern Marble Group http://www.chilternmarble.co.uk in response to the growing demand for more sustainable stone products. The Italian Porphyry Company was formed to focus solely on sustainable and ethically sourced stone – and to introduce a range of completely new porphyry products to the market.

The people behind The Italian Porphyry Company are Paul Mullee and Chris Ryan of Chiltern Marble together with Landscape Architect, Simon Goude.

Paul & Chris offer many years of experience both in stone imports, fabrication and installation on a wide range of projects including work for Harrods, The Savoy, The Lancasters and many others. In addition to stone products, Chiltern Marble Group also provide a professional commercial tiling service through ‘Protile’ – a branch of the group.

Simon Goude is an award winning designer who brings over 15 years of Landscape Design and Product Design experience to the table. Simon has worked extensively on a number of large scale urban design and implementation projects both in the UK and overseas.

With our combined professional experience we are able to offer an insight into all aspects of stone production, design and installation that is unique in the industry.
