>>Binders (Blocks)
Binders (or shallow kerbs) have a natural surface with sides sheared, are traditionally used within a paved road or pedestrian area to contain and delineate the overall scheme. They are particularly robust and therefore useful when used on-mass for heavy trafficked areas.
Binders might be used as an alternative to tiles where split edges with natural finish is required to form a very strong and robust scheme (e.g a shared surface). Binders are also useful as edgings to planting, trees etc. and even as a walling material.
Sizes range from 50-80mm, 80-110mm, 110-150mm and 150-200mm thickness.
